'King salmon swimming through Spenard'—Friends of Fish Creek push for revitalization of urban wildlife in Anchorage

This 2019 KTUU story highlights Friends of Fish Creek’s vision to restore buried sections of Fish Creek, reduce flooding, create trails and parks, and bring urban salmon habitat back through Midtown and Spenard.
